MY STORY

Guided by Compassion and Connection

Founded on the belief that everyone deserves a space where they can be truly seen and understood, Right Lane Counseling began with a simple mission: to provide compassionate guidance through life’s most complex intersections.

My practice is built on the integration of professional psychological expertise and heartfelt pastoral care. I recognize that the journey toward healing is rarely a straight line, and my goal is to help you find the clarity needed to navigate your unique path with resilience and peace.

By fostering deep connections and honoring every individual's story, I create a peaceful, caring environment for authentic growth. I am here to ensure that as you move forward, you feel fully known, deeply supported, and loved.

The LANE to discovering who you are and the God who made you!

I believe that healing is a journey of uncovering the quiet, God-given strength that already exists within you. My model is rooted in creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where the complexities of your story are met with profound clarity, guidance and wholeness.

Meet Robb Lane

Robb Lane is a certified counselor with well over 25 years of counseling and coaching experience. As an ordained minister (1997) Robb exemplifies a pastoral and shepherd's heart. As a certified counselor with a Masters in Psychology (2009), Robb brings education, training and practicality to every session. Because Robb loves, participates and views all of life within sports, he counsels with a coaching modality. Whatever you have gone through or are still going through, Robb coaches people how to believe that all things are possible because with God nothing is impossible!

My path to counseling was paved by a deep desire to help people find clarity when the road ahead feels uncertain. With well over 25 years of church ministry tenure along with over a decade of experience in social work services, my background merges pastoral care, professional psychology and counseling where I have seen firsthand how a compassionate, faith-informed approach can transform a season of struggle into one of profound growth and purpose.

In my practice, I strive to create a sanctuary where your story can be told without fear. I believe that every individual is worthy of being seen, known, and loved. My role is not to simply 'fix' what is broken, but to offer a steady presence and a safe space for you to navigate life’s complex intersections at your own pace and healing from wounds that have not yet become scars. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need a place to be heard, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can work toward a place of peace and resilience, ensuring that as you move forward, you do so with the confidence that you are not alone. You have never been alone!

MORE ABOUT ROBB

A good question to ask when deciding and praying for the right counselor is: how much pain have you experience in your own life and what have you learned from it? I have experienced loss and deep sorrow,  been betrayed and rejected, had health scares that almost took my life, have had drop down drag out arguments with God about purpose and significance, and so much more. What have I learned through all of it? God never left me when it felt like He did. Because of this tried and true reality, I know He has ALWAYS been with me.

Robb and Cara co-founded The Lane Company, a workplace family and relationship engagement program dedicated to strengthening relationships, empowering employees, and elevating organizations. They also co-founded The Lane Foundation, which focuses on bringing awareness and education to mental health—especially working to end the shame surrounding psychosis. Robb and Cara live in Arizona.

"I didn't become a counselor to fix people. I became a counselor to remind people they are seen, known and loved and to offer them a safe space to find their way back to themselves".

— Robb Lane
